After reading two books with too much description and not enough action for my taste, I went back to Charlaine Harris' vampire series starring Sookie Stackhouse. I have finished reading, in very short order, both Definitely Dead and All Together Dead. These were the next two books in the series after Dead as a Doornail. I plan to go back to the beginning of the series now and catch up. I would recommend this series as just plain fun! It is great light-hearted summertime reading, which is exactly what I needed to balance teaching Calculus IV this summer!
I also guess that means I have finished reading my three books for the Summer Reading Challenge! (Not that I plan to stop reading or blogging, especially since my summer classes are almost over! Yeah!)
